Annual CSULB Student Research Competition

The annual Student Research Competition offers graduate students a chance to present their research in a structured and supportive environment to fellow students, faculty, and jurors. Graduate students must be enrolled in graduate units at CSULB and must be nominated by a faculty member to participate. Application forms must be accompanied by the paper (five pages, double-spaced)

Graduate students in the Liberal Arts are assigned to one of two categories: Humanities & Letters or Behavioral & Social Sciences. First and second-place winners in each category go on to compete in the Annual CSU-wide Student Research Competition, with first-place winners in each category also receiving a $100 award. There are no registration fees for participating in either the campus or statewide competition.
