Barbara Sullivan

Barbara Sullivan is founder and president of Sullivan & Associates, a medical communications agency based in Huntington Beach that serves the public relations needs of healthcare clients nationwide.

Sullivan obtained her bachelor’s degree in journalism, with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in marketing, from California State University, Long Beach. She returned to CSULB as an adjunct professor, and for 18 years taught upper-division courses in public relations writing and practice. In this role, she also mentored public relations students and young professionals and helped shape the CSULB public relations curriculum.
