CLA 492 At-A-Glance
Internship & Enrollment
Internship Requirements
- 90 Hours – Internship work should average 6 hours/week over 15-week semester
- Supervisor – You must have a direct supervisor who trains and provides you with feedback
CLA 492 Success – Essential Steps
- Complete the CLA 492 orientation and print the Certificate of Completion
- Prepare for your internships search: Update resume and attend a workshop/internship fair at the Career Development Center
- Secure an appropriate internship site and complete the Sponsor Approval form
- Enroll in CLA 492 during your University registration access period
- Complete on-boarding requirements as determined by your internship supervisor (e.g., TB test, background check, orientation, etc.)
- Begin working your internship hours by the beginning of the semester
