Arlington West Memorial

The Arlington West Memorial http://www.arlingtonwestfilm.com/links.html will be on campus from early Monday morning until Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m.  The memorial, containing thousands of crosses and other religious symbols, is set up each Sunday at the Santa Monica Pier in commemoration of those who have died or been injured in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The event closes on Wednesday with an interfaith service.

Peter Dudar and Sally Marr, producers of the highly acclaimed DVD “Arlington West”, will in the Multicultural Center on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  They will be accompanied by an Iraq War veteran.

Volunteers  are needed beginning at 7:00 a.m.  Monday to monitor the Arlington West Memorial to prevent damage or vandalism.  Volunteer help is also need to take down the memorial on Wednesday evening.
