Beach Forensics Wins Again!

Beach Forensics had an outstanding weekend competing at the Robert Barbera Invitational, hosted by Cal State Northridge. In College Advocacy and Research Debate, Gavie Torres was the 4^th place speaker and Jean Kim was the 2^nd place speaker. In Open Prose, J Punsalan took home 3^rd place and Isaac Ramnani took home 2^nd place. In Open Impromptu, Isaac Ramnani was the tournament champion! In Open Program of Oral Interpretation, Cydney Izabal was the tournament champion! In Open Lincoln Douglas debate, Ashan Herath took 2^nd place and was recognized as the 1^st place speaker! Finally, in Open Policy debate, the team of Erika Linares and Alessandra Escobar were the tournament champions, being recognized as the first and third place speakers respectively! Overall, Beach Forensics was awarded first place in the team sweepstakes, the product of hard work and a team effort.

This marks the third consecutive year that Beach Forensics has won Open Policy debate at the Robert Barbera and brought home the top speaker award for the division.
