Current Projects

	Cool4Ed eTextbook Accessibility Evaluations Accessibility evaluations of electronic textbooks for the California Open Online Library for Education (COOL4Ed) using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
	SkillsCommons SkillsCommons is a free and open digital library of Workforce Training Materials. A usability evaluation was performed to help identify any usability issues based on user performance and feedback when interacting with the website. Courses on the website were also designed to meet usability standards.
	Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness A Hewlett Foundation Grant is supporting Historically Black Colleges and Universities adopting the Affordable Learning Solutions strategy and building a national community with MERLOT. CUDA is providing portal development services, program planning and training.
	Navigated Learning Partnership with Gooru, MERLOT, and SkillsCommons. CUDA is providing the design of competency based education frameworks for workforce development skills and usability evaluation of the Navigator platform by Gooru.org.
	Chatbots and Knowledge Engineering Conducting laboratory investigation of the usability of chatbot to support faculty and staff using the California State University Office of the Chancellor’s Student Success Dashboard. CUDA is providing the question and response framework as well as performing usability evaluations to develop a chatbot that makes use of the California State University (CSU) Student Success Faculty Dashboard more successful.
	MERLOT The usability of digital content curation within the international free and open online library of teaching and learning resources is being optimized by evaluating usability of the library collection and services.
