Employer Resources

The College of Liberal Arts has a long history of collaborating with the local Long Beach community and beyond. Currently, we have internship partnerships with over 200 organizations. Internship Partners are organizations that provide high-quality internship experiences to our CSULB College of Liberal Arts students.

See a list of our current partners here.

Your organization can become an official CLA Internship Partner too!

Step 1: New and interested organizations attend an Internship Partner Agency Training to learn more about the CLA Internship Program, policies and procedure for academic internships, and best practices for hosting student interns. Our next workshop will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 10 – 11:30 am. To receive a date and link to the training, please email cla-internships@csulb.edu.

Step 2: Complete a Student Field Placement Agreement, which paves the way for meaningful College of Liberal Arts student participation at your workplace.

Step 3: Provide a detailed internship description and we will promote your internship opportunities through the CLA Internship Partners Program. Use this Intern Position Description Template to help you develop or edit your organization’s internship description.
