CSULB’s Russian Club presents the spring 2011 Russian Film Series: Russian Women

Film Screening: Director Aleksandr Rogozhkin’s 2002 film Kukushka (The Cuckoo)

Description: A Finnish sniper who is chained to a rock manages to set himself free. Not long after, a captain of the Soviet Army is injured in an accident.  A Lapp woman provides shelter to both of them at her farm.

Running time: 99 minutes
