Yoo) of Caring across Generations: The Linked Lives of Korean American Families (NYU Press, 2014), which was awarded the 2015 Asian American Book Award by the American Sociological Association’s Section of Asian and Asian America.

  • Jeff Winters, Lecturer in Asian Studies and Director, Language Laboratory, has been studying and teaching Chinese for over 20 years. In addition to his passion for Chinese language and culture he works extensively on developing web-based programs for language acquisition. His experience includes programming, testing, designing and evaluating software as a software engineer and language instructor. He is currently researching the application of social media motivators in foreign language study.
