This project aims to increase the number of students who complete internships, especially students of color, those who are first in their families to go to college, and those who are Pell eligible. The project guarantees students an internship placement with a Long Beach nonprofit, a $1,500 participation award, networking opportunities with city and community leaders, professional development training, and campus and community kick-off and other events.
