Lanza EventDr. H. Isabella Lanza, Human Development

The presentation will highlight the diversity of CSULB undergraduate’s health-risk behaviors related to substance use (e-cigarette/vaping use, cigarette smoking, binge drinking, and marijuana use). Using data from a probability sample of CSULB undergrads (N=435) surveyed in 2018-2019, lifetime and current prevalence rates will be presented. In addition, patterns of co-occurring substance use will be addressed including biobehavioral, psychological, and socio-contextual factors linked to unique patterns of substance use. Finally, the presentation will show recent trends in e-cigarette/vaping point of sales in Long Beach, CA that may inform co-occurring substance use.
