Student Spotlight: Stephanie Pantoja
Stephanie Pantoja’s commitment to and perseverance in engaging in research, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, have truly been impressive. Stephanie joined Dr. Kelly’s CLIaM research lab in the beginning of Fall 2020 and is a member of the inaugural cohort of Student Data Fellows. Within the first six weeks, Stephanie has already shown substantial contributions. She created tables for conference abstract submissions, completed independent training in Qualtrics survey design, and contributed items to a survey of High-Impact Practices that will be distributed to CSULB students. Her ability to work independently toward team goals and her being reliable, consistent, and supportive of her lab-mates set her apart. Stephanie is interested in presenting research at scholarly conferences and hopes to pursue graduate school after she graduates from CSULB.
