Requirements

The International Studies major and minor underwent some changes effective Fall 2020.  Students entering Fall 2020 are under the new requirements.  Students who entered prior to Fall 2020 follow the requirements from the year they entered but may choose to change to the new major requirements if they desire.

Past years (by year entering CSULB):

For students pursuing an internship:

Students must complete the I/ST Internship Contract and the Student Self-Paced Internship Waiver before starting an internship or the internship cannot be counted towards any CSULB requirement. 

For students studying abroad:

Students must meet with the I/ST study abroad advisor before finalizing location selection, and they must complete a Transfer Credit form before departure.
