James H. Williams

James H. Williams is a seasoned sports journalist currently serving as a Los Angeles Sports Reporter for USA Today. With over a decade of experience, he worked as an Assistant Digital Sports Editor for the Southern California News Group from 2013 to 2024. Williams knows how to produce written, social, and multimedia content. He’s also worked as a beat writer, covering UCLA football since 2019.

Williams graduated from Long Beach State University, where he was notably active, serving as NABJ co-president in 2018, and a co-host of a radio show at 22West Media’s on-campus station. His skills extend to video editing and on-camera reporting.

He also started his journalism education at both Cerritos College and Riverside City College.
