Forbes: Each summer, Forbes selects students to join the Forbes newsroom as its Editorial Intern Class. Through this paid opportunity, interns will be embedded in the newsroom and contribute to daily ideation and work. This full-time paid summer internship was created in honor of award-winning journalist Gwen Ifill, the former PBS News Hour co-anchor and managing editor and Washington Week moderator and managing editor. The Gwen Ifill Fellow participates in the development and production off Washington Week and PBS News Weekend. Japanese American National Museum: The 2025 Getty Marrow Media Arts Intern will work in the Frank H. Watase Media Arts Center, which is dedicated to furthering JANM’s mission through unique documentaries, innovative exhibition components, and video life histories that preserve and share the Japanese American experience. The intern will create media for JANM’s films, exhibitions, programs, and digital platforms while developing their own short film/Capstone Project aligned with JANM’s mission. hands-on experience and training in preproduction development, cameras, sound, lighting, livestreaming, editing software, motion graphics, and archival media formats. Skirball Cultural Center: The Skirball Cultural Center’s Communications and Marketing Department offers a full-time, in-person summer internship (40 hours/week) for a qualified undergraduate student. The intern will help promote exhibitions, programs, and educational initiatives while also creating content for social media, the website, and email newsletters. Processing provides hands-on experience working with photographic materials. Monterey Bay Aquarium: The Video Production Internship at the Monterey Bay Aquarium provides students an opportunity to gain experience in all phases of the video production process. The intern will work collaboratively with the Aquarium’s Film & Video team on video productions for aquarium exhibitions and social media. The student will receive hands-on experience with RED digital cinema cameras. They will support underwater and drone video operations and set up lighting equipment.
