Linguistics Courses that Satisfy General Education and Writing Intensive Requirements
Linguistics Courses that Satisfy General Education and Writing Intensive Requirements
General Education requirements at CSULB are not exactly the same for all students. The requirements depend on the year that the student first began college with no break in attendance (see table below). The best thing to do is to go by your Academic Requirement report (which you can access through MYCSULB). This will tell you what YOU have to take to be eligible for graduation.
Of course, after enrolling in a course, you are always encouraged to go back to your Academic Requirements page to make sure the requirement has turned from red to yellow (showing active enrollment in a course that will satisfy). As always, if you have any questions, contact your Undergrad LING Advisor, Dr. Ahland. In some cases, as indicated below, a course may satisfy more than one GE requirement at the same time.
