Michael Cecil (BA 2011) has, since graduating: worked as a digital organizer for President Obama’s reelection campaign in New York City, served as assistant communications director for the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy in New York, advised two congressional candidates, published work with The Huffington Post, built the digital strategy for former San Antonio Mayor (and later HUD Secretary) Julian Castro, and worked as the campaign manager for a mayoral race in Newark, NJ.

D. K. Christi (BA 1973) is a reporter for Spotlight News Magazines, Bonita Springs, Fl,, other freelance work and publishes fiction novels. She has interviewed celebrities such as Whoopi Goldberg, Newt Gingrich, Jack Hanna, Rob Reiner and Marlo Thomas.

Keegan Conway (BA 2012) is the Campaign Manager for Igor Birman for Congress, in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Sun Young Kwak (MA 2002)  has a PhD in political science from USC, and is the Editorial Assistant to Dr. Mary Caputi at the journal Gender and Politics.

Kandist Mallett (BA 2009) is the politics editor at Blavity. In January 2019, Ms. Mallett spoke with Pod Save America cohost Jon Favreau and Crooked Media political director Shaniqua McClendon about the implications of the November 2018 elections. The full program may be viewed at:

Veronika Zubo (MA 2010) has been working as a research and communications associate in Washington, DC at a media and messaging company dedicated to state and local politics.
