What our alumni have to say about this program:

Trevor McGoldrick

Trevor McGoldrick

“The MSIO program provided me the foundation to build upon my analytical skills, become a critical consumer of data, and learn how to build a story with information. As I transitioned out of the program, the ability to speak to the practical experience gained through my practicum and team projects proved incredibly useful in finding a full-time position. “-Trevor McGoldrick

“Through applied projects during the semester and various research opportunities (e.g., lab work and the thesis track), the faculty within the MSIO program at Long Beach truly equip their students to market themselves to nearly any position. For example, I’m currently a doctoral student, adjunct lecturer, and PT consultant —that would not have been possible without the guidance and mentorship that the MSIO program provided. I’m proud and grateful to have had the opportunity to start my professional journey at Long Beach.”-Yuliya Cheban

Renee Lutz

“The MSIO program provided me with hands-on, relevant experience that has helped me thrive in my career. I not only learned technical skills such as survey design and statistics, but also developed critical competencies such as adaptability and teamwork. I consistently find myself referencing previous notes or projects for inspiration and guidance on my current projects. I couldn’t be more thankful for the amazing professors who supported me during my time in the program and ultimately helped shape me into the I/O professional I am today”-Renee Lutz
