Jana Carpenter Memorial Endowed Scholarship


  • Must be incoming junior or senior majoring in psychology
  • Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Must provide personal statement of financial need and motivation to succeed

Raphael Hanson Endowed Student Award
for Outstanding Scholarly Potential and Achievement


  • Must be a Psychology major in first semester of senior year
  • Must demonstrate outstanding scholarly and/or research accomplishments
  • Must have maintained GPA of 3.5 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units

Tomy Jung Memorial Scholarship


  • Must have suffered early academic problems but made sustained, substantial academic improvement
  • Must demonstrate commitment and promise for work in the field of psychology
  • Must be an upper-division psychology major enrolled in a minimum of 12 units 

Robert Kapche Outstanding Student Scholarship Award


  • Must be a Psychology major in the first semester of their senior year
  • Must demonstrate an outstanding contribution to students through service as a PRO Guide, Psychology Student Study Center Assistant, or as a member of a student group
  • Must have maintained a GPA of 3.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units.

Robert E. Thayer Endowed Scholarship


  • Must be a declared graduate student majoring in Psychology
  • Must be pursuing research in the field of mood, personality, or social psychology
