Research Interests

Daniel Herrera-Cepero’s research focuses on the impact of urban experience and film in 19th and 20th Century Spanish Literature. His publications include an article on this topic in Cuadernos para investigación de la literatura hispánica and a translation of an unpublished article by the Spanish film director Luis Buñuel (FCE-México, in press). His research interests include Contemporary Spanish Literature, Spanish Film, Comparative Literature and Critical Theory.

His current projects include the first UC Davis Literary Contest in both Spanish and Spanglish and an exhibition of his students’ creative work next March.
