IT COMES IN WAVES: HOPE AND FAILURE IN INDIA’S BATTLE WITH THE NOVEL CORONAVIRUS, AND WITH ITSELF

December 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Yadunandan Center for India Studies is proud to present

a lecture by Rukmini Shrinivasan, a data journalist, about the COVID-19 pandemic in India.

COVID has spread to over 8,000,000 people in India and killed over 125,000. Where does the virus take India from here, and is there a way to change course, even now?

Rukmini Shrinivasan is a data journalist. She served as the first Data Editor for The Hindu and later as the Data & Innovation Editor for the Huffington Post India. She has written for The Times of India, India Today, The Guardian, and the South China Morning Post. Since March, she has also hosted a podcast about the pandemic called “The Moving Curve.”

The talk will be held via Zoom on the evening December 3rd at 7:00PM.
