Raising awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2-Spirit People

The panel will be moderated by CSULB Muscogee Creek Professor Kimberly Robertson and will feature: Cree Elder Vivian Young who will discuss effects on kinship; Muscogee Creek Professor and Lawyer Sarah Deer who will provide a national perspective on legal advocacy; and Acjachemen Tribal Chairwoman Heidi Lucero who will give a Southern California tribal perspective on grassroots organizing and local impacts.
