Walo Deuber (1947-2017) was a journalist, screenwriter, author, director for television and cinema, and teacher. In 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007 he was a visiting professor at CSULB and taught literature and film. On September 12, the German Program will commemorate Walo and his work with a screening of his 2004 film Ricordare Anna and introductions by some of his former students.
