Film Screening with Dr. Andrew Jenks (HIST): "Gagarinland"

Dr. Andrew Jenks is a professor in CSULB’s Department of History.

The award-winning 2011 French documentary Gagarinland interviews many of the same people from Gagarin’s provincial homeland of Gzhatsk (now named Gagarin) who helped Dr. Jenks with his newly published biography on Gagarin The Cosmonaut Who Couldn’t Stop Smiling. The film Gagarinland is the final film in a series of documentary films that Professor Dmitrii Sidorov (Department of Geography) has organized.
