Guest Lecture: Benjamin T. Jealous's "Black History and American Democracy — Considerations for the Coming Decades"

The Department of Africana Studies welcomes Benjamin T. Jealous, NAACP President and CEO, as the inaugural lecturer for Black History Month 2012.

Jealous formerly served as the following: President of the Rosenberg Foundation, Director of Amnesty International’s U.S. Human Rights Program, Executive Director of National Newspapers Publishers Association, and Managing Editor of The Jackson Advocate.
