Guest Lecture by Dr. Arthur Berger: “The Genius of the Jewish Joke”

Dr. Berger is Professor Emeritus at San Francisco State University and a very prolific writer. In a little over thirty years, Professor Berger has published over sixty books, most of which involve the academic study of American popular culture, including a book on Jewish humor. Dr. Berger’s talk will be an entertaining and informative inquiry into Jewish humor as he explores its distinctiveness, its unique spirit, and its role in Jewish identity.
