Guest Speaker: Dr. Craig Smith's "Writing for the President — How Speeches Shape Presidential Campaigns"

Dr. Craig Smith will share his experiences as a full-time speechwriter to President Gerald Ford and as a consultant to George H.W. Bush during his 1980 run for presidency. Dr. Smith is a professor of communication studies at CSULB and founded the Center for First Amendment Studies.
