Guest Speaker: Kirk Jordan — "Document Preparation for Teaching Abroad"

April 16, 2012

Kirk Jordan is a lecturer in the School of Business at Eastern International University in Binh Duong New City, Vietnam. He is an Alumnus of CSULB’s Department of Linguistics.

Teaching abroad is a great way to gain valuable teaching experience, as well as a chance to experience life in a different culture. There are numerous opportunities for teaching abroad, but many schools (and countries) are tightening their requirements for documented credentials. Reputable schools that pay well require proof of your degrees, certificates, and other relevant documents. Some documents can take up to three months to prepare. If you plan to (or are even considering) teaching overseas, Jordan’s seminar will teach you what documents to prepare before you go and how to get them authenticated without wasting time.
