Hilda and Bill Bennett Give an Estate Gift to the Department of Religious Studies

Though retired from the Crystal Cathedral, Dr. Bennett is actively involved with TheChurchCounsel.com. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at CSULB and his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Southern California (USC), where he graduated 8th in a class of 135. While at USC, he served as editor on the Southern California Law Review. Moreover, Dr. Bennett holds a Masters of Arts degree in Specialized Ministry from Grace Theological Seminary and a Doctorate degree in Ministry from Reformed Theological Seminary.

Even in his retirement, Dr. Bennett provides legal counsel on a case-by-case basis for clients, including Simon Greenleaf University, Campus Crusade for Christ International, and the Crystal Cathedral Ministries. In previous years, he opened a real estate brokerage office in Long Beach after practicing real estate law for twenty years. Dr. Bennett is a Certified Investment Specialist. He is the previous chair of the Long Beach Bar Association Real Property Section and the previous President of CZI Investment Society.

Dr. Bennett has an extensive history with CSULB. In addition to graduating from CSULB, Dr. Bennett taught in the College of Business for twenty years. Dr. Bennett’s three children attended CSULB, and he served as president of the Alumni Association as well as participated on the President’s Advisory board.
