Interdisciplinary, Cross-Campus Science Fiction Workshop: "First Experiences"

September 26, 2012

The workshop on Friday, October 5th, at 2 p.m. is the first in a year-long series of interdisciplinary, cross-campus Science Fiction workshops led by Dr. Nhora Serrano of CSULB’s Department of World Literature and Classics and Mike Buckley of CSUDH. There will be four workshops per semester of the 2012-2013 academic year. Alternating location between CSULB and CSUDH, each workshop in the series will regard a different theme.

This first workshop entitled “First Experiences” will include a screening of the first sci-fi film ever made, Georges Méliès’s “A Trip to the Moon.” There will also be an open membership blog to promote participation and discussion.
