College of Liberal Arts Internship Conference at the Pyramid

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for you to participate in an upcoming internship event here on campus!
The conference will be held on Friday, March 13th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm in The Pointe, at the Pyramid. The Conference is free and complementary lunch with be served. Students need to RSVP as space is limited. The conference will feature:
·Keynote by Carl Kemp, 2 term ASI president, CSULB Alum who graduated with a BA in Africana Studies
·College of Liberal Arts Student Panel, students will share their internship experiences, provide information on how to find internships and how their Liberal Arts education helped them stand out
·Employer Panel, employers will discuss how to be a successful intern, things they are looking for in interns and how to market your Liberal Arts education
·Interviewing as an Art Session, presenter will provide interview tips and help students prepare for interviews
·Internship Fair, Some employers featured at the fair include- PBS, Angel Stadium, Peace Corps, Laserfiche, City of Long Beach, CIA, Northwestern Mutual and more.
·Students will also be able to:
o Get their resumes critiqued
o Do mock interviews with employers
o Take their LinkedIn photo
o Learn how to search for internships
