May 3, 2011

Dr. Sarah Abrevaya Stein is the Amado Chair of Sephardic Studies at UCLA. She will be speaking about her research on a Jewish global trading network that existed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This network stretched from South Africa to North Africa to Europe and, finally, to the United States. She is an exciting and dynamic speaker.

This event is free and open to the public.
