Jewish Studies Lecture: Dr. Brian Levin

Dr. Brian Levin is Director of the Center for Hate & Extremism at CSU San Bernardino.  His topic is “Fighting Hate in America:  Recent Developments in Combating Hate Crimes and Hate Groups.”  Mr. Levin is an expert on extremism in the United States and England.  In addition to his work for the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Klanwatch/Militia Task Force in Alabama, he has appeared frequently on news broadcasts and network magazine shows discussing civil rights, criminal law, and extremism.  He also has testified before Congress, the US Commission on Civil Rights and various state legislatures on hate and terrorism.
