Jewish Studies Program: Courage to Remember
September 12, 2011The Jewish Studies Program at California State University Long invites you to attend the opening of the internationally acclaimed exhibit “Courage to Remember,” a traveling exhibit from the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Museum of Tolerance.
Both the opening ceremony and the exhibit are hosted by the Foundation for California and will be in CSULB’s main library (3rd floor lobby). You are invited to the opening ceremony on September 19th at 3:00 PM, which includes special guests from the Simon Wiesenthal Center and CSULB as well as civic and business leaders.
Please mark your calendar for this special exhibition about the Holocaust. The lesson it continues to impart about the destructive power of hatred, bigotry, ideological perversion, and moral indifference is as important to us today as when the Nazi’s came to power in the 1930s.
The exhibit will remain on display in the library for a full month. It is free and open to the public.
For more information, please visit the exhibit’s website: www.CourageToRemember.com.
