Poetry Declamación to Celebrate National Poetry Month

On April 25, the Department of Comparative Literature and Classics will host a poetry event after its Conference to celebrate National Poetry Month! Taking place on the Anatol Patio/Lounge, food and drinks will be provided as people are welcomed to enjoy poetry, company and refreshments, and reading poetry. Read the following to find out how to participate in this event:

 

LEVEL 1:

 

1. Select a favorite poem to share (not your own)

2. Memorize it or prepare to read it with oomph and verve

 

LEVEL 2:

 

1. Follow Level 1 instructions

2. Grab a partner

3. Have them choose a poem to read in tandem with yours
