Poetry Recitation/Declamation

NATIONAL POETRY MONTH WILL BE CELEBRATED
DURING THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPARATIVE WORLD
LITERATURE AND CLASSICS ANNUAL CONFERENCE

You are all welcome to come enjoy the poetry and to participate.
All traditions and languages welcome — read in English AND in
the original if desired. No need to sign up! Just show up.

Here is how:
Option 1:
1. Choose a poem to share (your own or somebody else’s)
2. Memorize it or prepare to read it with oomph and joy
Option 2:
1. Follow Option 1 instructions
2. Select a partner
3. Have him/her choose a poem to read in tandem with yours
