Research & Teaching Interests: Intercultural communication; research methods. All of my research interests center around intercultural/interracial dialogue, across three domains: 1) language attitudes (how our predispositions facilitate or inhibit this interaction), 2) pedagogy (pragmatic strategies for best managing this interaction), 3) and embodiment (the role that unconscious processes play).
