Revolution Selfie: The Red Battalion

We had a successful screening of Revolution Selfie with close to 80 attendees. By the end of the screening and Q&A there were close to 40 attendees still there. Screening Revolution Selfie and inviting producer Steven De Castro to CSULB provided our campus and Long Beach community with an important look into the social inequalities that exist in the Philippines and how local communities are responding. Organizing the screening with Anakbayan Long Beach allowed for our campus community to be introduced to a local grassroots youth and student organization uplifting the peoples’ movements in the Philippines.
