Speaker Series Presents: Dr. Teresa Wright

The Political Science Graduate Student Association presents Dr. Wright, the Department Chair and a Professor of Political Science at CSULB. She will be discussing her new book, Party and State in Post-Mao China, wherein she examines how China’s Communist Party-led political system has achieved such remarkable longevity, and what this system’s stability tells us about the future of authoritarian versus liberal democratic governance.
