The Department of Geography: Film, "Journey to the Planet Earth" Rivers of Destiny)

Part of Geography Awareness Week (November 15-18, 2010)

The Department of Geography is hosting their 8th annual Geography Awareness Week November 15-18 on campus in promotion of geographic education in schools and surrounding communities. The theme of this year’s activities is Freshwater and will include a viewing of a documentary series, a guest speaker presentation, and a week-long student poster exhibit.

Film: Journey to the Planet Earth: Rivers of Destiny

This film examines the health of four of the world’s river systems: the Mississippi, the Amazon, the Jordan, and the Mekong.
