The Jewish Studies Program: Guest Lecture — Rabbi Carla Howard's "Spiritual Care at the End of Life"

The Jewish Studies Program welcomes Rabbi Carla Howard who will deliver her lecture “Spiritual Care at the End of Life.”

Rabbi Howard is the founder and Executive Director of the Jewish Healing Center in Los Angeles.  The center uses a multi-faceted approach to healing, based on the wisdom of the Jewish tradition, to provide compassionate care to individuals affected by serious illness and other life crises. In addition to her chaplaincy work, Rabbi Howard is on the faculty of UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine and the Academy for Jewish Religion rabbinical seminary. She also serves on the Bio-Ethics Committee of Santa Monica/UCLA Medical Center.

As always, Jewish Studies guest lectures are free and open to the public. There is no need to RSVP.
