Will you vote for or against legal marijuana?

October 4, 2016

Please join us for the hour-long community forum, cosponsored by the University and Southern California News Group, represented by the Long Beach Press Telegram, Torrance Daily Breeze and Orange County Register, will unravel the pros and cons of the initiative on the November 8 ballot in the form of Proposition 64. In addition, the discussion will also look at the pros and cons of a ballot measure in the City of Long Beach that would regulate the city’s medical, as opposed to recreational, marijuana dispensaries.

So yes, Trump v. Clinton v. Johnson v. Stein isn’t the only controversial thing to decide on when you vote in November. And of course, if you are a faculty member with a class you’d like to encourage to attend, that would be great as well.

More details are to come with bios of the diverse four-person panel. But rest assured, this program, weeks in the planning, will be one not to miss.
