Why Intern?
Internships are an important way to complement students’ education and give them valuable insights into a chosen career. Through these experiences, students develop and hone professional skills that promote growth and development while also gaining industry-specific, and often technological skills related to their field. Furthermore, internships can be a jump start for students’ careers as they network and build contacts within their industry.
Students engaged in internships can:
- Develop marketable & transferable skills
- Link their degrees to real-world experiences
- Participate in networking opportunities
- Earn academic credit for their internship
