Minor in Linguistics

What is it?

The Linguistics minor consists of LING/ANTH 170 (Introduction to Linguistics), plus four other linguistics courses. One linguistics course  from another department may be counted, with advisor permission. See the Catalog for more details. 

Who can do this minor?

The minor in Linguistics is popular with students majoring in fields such as English, foreign languages, Anthropology, and Speech-Language Pathology. The minor is not open to students majoring in Linguistics or ASLD.
