Welcome to our Linguistics Undergrad Advising page!

We’re glad you’re here! I am the undergraduate advisor for the Linguistics Department. You are welcome to send me an email (Michael.Ahland ‘at’ csulb.edu) to ask advising questions at any time. Welcome to the Fall2024 semester! My Advising hours will be held via zoom (it’s much easier to share my screen with you online and to show you all the details that you need to know). Students are always welcome to email me with any questions, using the email link above. Advising Hours for Summer Transfer will be in mid June: You will receive an email from me with directions for how to register for a 30-minute personal zoom advising session with me where we will discuss your course history, your fall schedule, and any questions you may have. It’s important to sign up for your 30-minute slot as quickly as you can. They do fill up.
