Wellness & Mental Health

Project Resilience strives to build and encourage mental and physical wellness to our AAPI students through different programs and activities for students to participate in. Some activities include rock climbing, visits to the Japanese Garden, yoga and our peer mentor/mentee program that we offer!

Peer Mentees

Project Resilience offers a year-long peer mentorship program for first and second-year, Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) students. The mentorship  aims to provide support through academic and wellness support services.  Mentees will be paired with fellow CSULB students as peer mentors to guide them through college and the various resources provided on campus while also creating a community.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Incoming 1st year students (will be matched with junior/senior peer mentors)
  • Pell Grant eligible and/or identify as Asian American and/or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander

Benefits of Participating
