The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication: Guest Lecture — Cathleen Decker

Cathleen Decker, who graduated from CSULB in 1979, has been selected as the Los Angeles Times’ 2012 Political Campaign Editor. She will oversee all aspects of the Times’ national political coverage, including the race for president, the battles for control of the House and Senate, and key gubernatorial races. She will receive the Distinguished Alumna Award.

Everyone is welcome to attend what promises to be a timely and informative late afternoon gathering, occurring just two months before the first key presidential caucuses and primaries in the race for the White House.

The event is expected to run until 6:00 PM. Please plan to arrive on time to get a good seat. Light refreshments will be served.
