LATEST UPDATES ON OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19
Special Update – Tuesday, March 17
We will now begin the alternative delivery of classes on Monday, March 23 to allow for additional planning time. Therefore, in-person classes are now canceled until Monday although online classes continue as scheduled.

In addition, we will now finish the entire academic semester through alternative delivery of classes. We no longer expect to resume normal operations on April 20. We will no longer offer any in-person instruction this spring to enhance our efforts in social distancing

For the remainder of the semester, many staff will be asked to continue to work remotely on most days. Similar to the planning days this week, staff will continue to confer with their Appropriate Administrator regarding scheduling, work assignments, and related matters. Human Resources will be issuing temporary guidelines for telecommuting.

We have encouraged students in our residential facilities to leave campus if they are able in an effort to increase social distancing and further reduce density.

We will postpone spring Commencement and related cultural celebrations until after the pandemic crisis subsides.

The campus remains open, including housing, related dining facilities, and many student services. We will sustain essential business, financial, facility, security, IT, vivaria, greenhouse and research operations, as well as limited hours at the library and Student Health Services.
