Engineering Girls Internship

The Engineering Girls Internship Summer Program is designed for middle-school girls who are academically-advanced in mathematics/science and show potential and interest in learning about the STEM fields.  This hands-on, project-based program is intended to broaden student’s knowledge of various aspects of the engineering and human factors discipline via curriculum designed to correlate with existing K-12 content standards.  Support to the Engineering Girls Program will stand as a prestigious tribute to the educators and the young girls dedicated to the pursuit of STEM education for women at CSULB.

Writer’s Resource Lab

The Writer’s Resource Lab is housed in the College of Liberal Arts, but serves all students at CSULB. The center functions as an outlet for students to improve their writing skills, speak one-on-one with tutors directly, and to overall become more effective writers. Building solid writing skills is a high priority that we have for our students. Support to the Writer’s Resource Lab has been utilized by the center to help students and take full advantage of the skill improvement the center has to offer, not only through the university, but also at no charge to our students.
