COVID Guidelines for Campus
CSULB COVID Guidelines (Spring 2024)
- If you feel sick with Cold, Flu or COVID-19 symptoms or if you have tested positive for COVID-19 you should isolate (stay home), until you have not had a fever for 24 hours (without fever-reducing medication) and other symptoms are improving.
- You should wear a well-fitted mask around other indoors for 10 days after the onset of your symptoms, (even if symptoms are improving).
- You should avoid contact with high-risk individuals for 10 days after the onset of your symptoms and seek treatment if you have symptoms, particularly if you are at higher risk for severe disease.
At-Home Test kits (Rapid Antigen testing kits)
- Are available for students at SHS.
- Are accepted at CSULB.
**PCR TESTING IN NO LONGER NECESSARY OR REQUIRED.
Clearance of COVID
- SHS does not clear students to return to class.
- Follow up testing and/or a negative COVID test is NOT a requirement to return to class.
Reporting
